About Us
Our story began with a simple belief: what we bring into our homes should be as pure and honest as the land around us.
We are a small, woman-owned candle company built on Appalachian grit, care, and community. Every candle we pour is a reflection of where we come from — resilient, resourceful, and deeply connected to the earth.
Our candles are Appalachian made and Appalachian sourced whenever possible. We believe in supporting our region — it’s makers, it’s families, and it’s future. By keeping our production close to home, we reduce our footprint while strengthening the community that shaped us.
This isn’t factory production. It’s small-batch, hand-poured craftsmanship. It’s early mornings, steady hands, and pride in every single piece.
We started this company because we wanted something better — for our homes, our families, and our customers.
Unlike big-brand paraffin candles made from petroleum byproducts, our candles are crafted from 100% soy wax, completely dye-free, non-toxic, and biodegradable. They burn cleaner, without the heavy soot or harmful chemicals that can linger in the air.
Appalachia has taught us that you take care of what takes care of you.
That means making products that are safer for your home and gentler on the environment. Our soy wax is biodegradable. Our small-batch process reduces waste. Our mission is rooted in sustainability, not trends.
But caring goes beyond ingredients.
We care about our customers — truly. You’re not a transaction to us. You’re part of a growing community that values quality, transparency, and intention. When you light one of our candles, you’re supporting a woman-owned small business, Appalachian families, and a slower, more thoughtful way of doing things.
Our candles are meant to mark life’s quiet moments:
* The stillness of early morning coffee
* The comfort of a clean kitchen at dusk
* The exhale at the end of a long day
* The gathering of friends around a worn wooden table.
Each flame carries a little piece of these mountains — steady, warm, and enduring.
From our Appalachian home to yours — thank you for letting us be part of your light. 🌿
